Craig Yarde

Chief Executive Officer

Craig, our CEO and owner, has been working in the metal industry for over 20 years. Currently the CEO and owner of Primrose Alloys, a global metal trading firm, Craig created Production Metals in order to return to working for a family owned and operated metals distributor.

Large conglomerates and foreign businesses have bought up many smaller metals companies recently, making it difficult for regional distributors to compete with product flow throughout the U.S.

Thanks to an international network of mills and factories, Production Metals bridges the gap with cost savings in both general operations and the purchase of materials.

Jim Reeser

President

Jim has spent over 33 years specializing in custom extrusions and large quantity contracts in the metal distribution business.

During that time, he worked for metal distributors of all sizes and watched the industry change from customer-focused to profit-focused. This increased the costs on all line items and orders.

Jim watched this change when he sold his distribution business to a larger company that didn’t include customer relationships as a priority. He knows that Production Metals will continue to change how metals are bought and distributed. He focuses on technology and strategic partnerships to provide the latest technology and distribution channels that customers need to secure lower costs.

Jason Ganser

VP Sales, Sales Manager

It was 20 years ago when Jason began his career in the metals industry managing a manufacturing company that specialized in custom aluminum extruded products. After years of working with metal, he was then approached by Jim Reeser who asked if he wanted to join him at his new metal service center working in distribution. After a few, very successful years, Jim’s company was bought by a global corporation. Shortly after they were seeing the shift from customer supported requests, to only maximizing profit margins. This left customers disappointed to say the least. 

After years of Inside Sales, Jason left to be an Outside Rep for a variety of different distributers. His ability to see the industry from many angles showed him what customers were hoping to receive from their suppliers. They wanted a partnership,.. a service center that was focused on helping them succeed. This is the drive behind Production Metals.
